Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Jason Pinkston has not been medically cleared for training camp.
The Browns and Pinkston's agents released a joint statement Monday, but did not include details about the fourth-year veteran's condition.
"Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Jason Pinkston has not been medically cleared to participate in football activities," the statement read. "The team has been in communication with Jason and his representatives and will respect their wishes to not provide any further details at this time."
Pinkston started 16 games as a rookie in 2011, then battled a blood clot in his lung the following year and played just six games. He sustained a significant ankle sprain during the 2013 preseason and played just three games upon his return in November.
