CORNING, N.Y. (WETM-18)- The Arbor Housing and Development headquarters will be headed to a new location.

A ribbon cutting Friday morning marks the beginning of a new era for the company. The merger between the Tri County Housing Council and Arbor Development has resulted in an “in-between” location from the Bath and Big Flats location.

The new location in Corning brings 40 jobs from the former offices to the Downtown Corning area.

Dozen of people gathered on Bridge Street to celebrated and support the three year project grand opening. The new building was the former Harley Davidson Shop and cost three million dollars.

The business helps educate first time home buyers and provide grants for economically challenged families to purchase a home.
