The 3-acre residence on Comfort Road houses about 20 plus horses.
A witness tells 18 News that the horses have not been properly taken care of or checked in years.

The post has generated thousands of shares and dozens of calls to animal control.
No official word yet on what lead animal control to remove the horses. Our calls to their offices have not been returned.
