ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Some Elmira College students danced the night away for children in need. It's an annual tradition, all for a good cause.
Students are raising money for Arnot Ogden Medical Center. They have been dancing since noon, Saturday.
The money raised will benefit children and their families from nine surrounding counties.
"So everything we do is for the kids," Emily Bush, the founder of the dance marathon, said. "We raise funds and spread awareness about neonatal and pediatric care and services at Arnot Health, the three hospital network and so we can buy equipment, we can purchase gas cards and we can do trainings for staff there."
The last dance ended at 11:59 on the dot. Last year over $15,000 was raised.
