Elmira Man Facing Felony Charges for Selling Heroin

ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - An Elmira man is facing felony charges for the criminal sale of heroin on Tuesday.

19-year-old Darius S. Holmes was arrested on a Superior Court Warrant for two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both considered felonies. 

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Elmira Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team. 

Holmes was taken to the Chemung County Jail and is being held on $20,000 bail.
