Elmira woman charged with selling cocaine

ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - A 54-year-old Elmira woman is behind bars, charged with selling and possessing cocaine. 

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Elmira Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team involving the sale of Crack Cocaine in the City of Elmira and a subsequent Search Warrant executed on February 9 at a residence in the City of Elmira.

During the execution of the search warrant, several items were recovered including approximately 13 grams of Cocaine, narcotic paraphernalia and a sum of US currency.

Brenda Palmieri is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, as well as two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both class B felonies.

Palmieri was previously convicted of selling cocaine back in June of 2015.
