NICHOLS, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - The Twin Tiers Honor Flight will be making another trip to Washington D.C. this year.
Honor flights take veterans from World War Two, Korea and Vietnam on a free trip to the nation's capitol.
In a meeting Sunday, members discussed upcoming events, including a flight planned for May.
During the day-long visit, the group tours war memorials and sees the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery.
Each trip costs about $70,000 so the group is looking to raise money.
A shoe drive fundraiser and a motorcycle ride honoring veterans will be held in the near future.
