ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Multiple driving while intoxicated-related arrests were made over St. Patrick's Day weekend in Elmira by several law enforcement agencies.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff's Department, the following activity occurred during the DWI crackdown:
- 4 Driving While Intoxicated arrests
- 1 Driving While Ability Impaired arrest
- 25 Uniform Traffic Tickets issued
- 74 traffic stops conducted
Members of the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office also executed superior court warrants involving unpaid DWI fines on the following individuals:
- Cora J. Hamilton, age 50
- Kevin D. Booker, age 27
- Charles R. Klein, age 38
- Christopher M. Smith, age 43
- Maroln V. Collier, age 50
The Elmira Police Department, New York State Police, Elmira Heights Police Department, Horseheads Police Department and Sheriff’s Office participated in the DWI crackdown.
