ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - The Sayre teen accused of abandoning her 8-month-old baby in a trash bag was back in court Friday morning.

17-year-old Harriette Hoyt was ordered to participate in a mental evaluation at the Chemung County Jail in October.

Hoyt's next court date is November 17, at 9 a.m., at Chemung County Court in Elmira.

Sabrina is now with a foster family.
