One Person Injured after Savona Hit and Run

SAVONA, N.Y. (18 News) – One man is recovering at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre after a hit and run accident in Savona Thursday night.

New York State Police in Bath say the accident happened just after 9:00 p.m. Thursday on East Lamoka and Main Streets. Police say a 33 year old man was hit, and suffered injuries to his arm and leg. The man was taken by Bath Ambulance to Corning Hospital, and then airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.

Police say that two vehicles were involved in the hit and run. No arrests have been made at this time.
