PSP looking for help finding car thief

LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. (18 NEWS) - Pennsylvania police are looking for a Livingston County a man they say took off with a car he didn't have permission to drive.

William Wagner, 33, of Springwater, New York is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield said Wagner took the vehicle for a test drive back on Dec. 23, even though the owner, Timothy Price, 61, of Lawrenceville, Pa. never gave him permission.

Wagner never returned the car to Price, but New York State Police were able to find it in Corning. There is an active warrant out for Wagner's arrest, anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at (570) 662-2151.
