Troy man facing drug and weapons charges

WAVERLY, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - A Troy man is behind bars facing drugs and weapons charges. 

On Sunday, Sayre Police attempted to pull over Jason Lee Rockwell, 37, on Route 220.

It wasn't until Rockwell crossed into New York, that he pulled over for police. 

Following the traffic stop, police found a .22 caliber, loaded pistol and one fentanyl patch. 

Further investigation found that Rockwell was a convicted felon in both Broome and Chemung counties. 

He was taken into custody without incident, arraigned in the Village of Waverly Court, and remanded to the Tioga County, New York jail. 

Bail is set at $100,000 cash or $200,000 property bond.

Rockwell is due back in Village of Waverly Court on 12/7/2017.
