A three car crash sent six people to the hospital. The crash happened Thursday morning in Eulalia Township on Buffalo Street. Pennsylvania State Police say a Subaru Outback driven by 55 year old Olivia Mickle of Coudersport hit a Ford Fusion driven by 32 year old Stephanie Deutschlander of Coudersport. Deutschlander’s car hit a third car, and then was hit by Mickle’s car again.
Two passengers in Deutschlander’s car suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital. Their names have not been released. Deutschlander, Mickle, and two passengers in Mickle’s car, 51 year old Josefina Hughes of Coudersport and 32 year old Novelyn Williams of Coudersport, were all taken to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the third car was not injured. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
A second crash Thursday night sent one person to the hospital. Pennsylvania State Police say around 10:30 Thursday night, a Ford F-350 driven by 45 year old Eugene Lampman of Westfield lost traction because of poor road grading, went off the road, and hit a tree. Lampman was airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital.
Both Lampman, and his passenger, 29 year old Tim Teller of Harrison Valley, were cited for not wearing their seatbelts.
