TROY, Pa. (WETM-TV) -- Pennsylvania State Police releases the identity of the man who died in a motorcycle crash on Route 6 in Bradford County Monday night.
Daniel Leslie Wilber, 18, of Troy, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wilber was the motorcyclist in a crash with two other cars.
He was wearing a helmet but sustained fatal injuries.
A car was stopped on Route 6 in Troy to make a turn, and Wilber skidded, attempting to stop behind the car, but was unable to stop.
Wilber's motorcycle struck the back of that car, which then hit a third vehicle involved in the crash.
No one else was injured.
Earlier on Monday, PENN DOT first reported this was a motorcycle-pedestrian incident. WETM has since learned from Pennsylvania State Police that no pedestrian was involved. The accident included two cars and the motorcycle driven by Wilber.
TROY, Pa. (WETM-18) - At least one person was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and pedestrian between Troy and the Burwick Turnpike.
The crash happened on Route 6, east of Troy, between Route 14 and Route 4013 late Monday morning.
WETM 18 News has confirmed that the Bradford County Coroner was called to the scene. At this time, we have not been told who was killed, or if more than one person was killed.
