ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - - A 39-year-old Beaver Dams woman has been sentenced to two years in prison for her role in a meth-manufacturing operation in the Twin Tiers.
Wendy Kennedy was convicted of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine.
It was alleged that Kennedy provided her brother, and co-conspirator, Scott Kennedy, with equipment and materials, including pseudoephedrine, with the knowledge and intent that he would use them to manufacture meth.
Scott Kennedy distributed large amounts of methamphetamine with and to people throughout the area of Schuyler, Chemung, and Steuben Counties.
He, along with three other defendants, Jared Mendez, Terry Champion, and Quinton Harrison, have already been convicted for their roles in the operation.
