Bill Clinton Delivers Commencement Address at Hobart and William Smith Colleges

GENEVA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Former President Bill Clinton delivered the commencement address at Hobart and William Smith Colleges on Sunday.

During his speech at the college in Geneva, Mr. Clinton focused on inclusion, social justice and service. He criticized anti-immigration policies around the globe and told graduates to beware of an "us-versus-them" mentality.

"You have to decide and your generation will determine whether we want diversity as a strength or a problem, whether we think our common humanity is more important or our differences matter more," Clinton said.

Clinton also pointed out that James Carville, a former Clinton campaign manager, was in the crowd watching his daughter graduate. Mark Gearan, Hobart and William Smith's outgoing president, worked in the Clinton White House during Clinton's first term.
