ESPN Baseball Analyst Tim Kurkjian Talks Mets Season

New York pitching staff will be key in 2017

CORNING, N.Y. (18 SPORTS) - - ESPN baseball analyst Tim Kurkjian was in Corning for the 43rd Annual Corning-Painted Post Sports Hall of Fame. 

Tim's wife, Kathy, was inducted for golf and was a graduate of Corning East in 1976. Kathy went on to stardom at Penn State and had success in the Corning Classic. Tim has been an analyst at ESPN since 1997 and has emerged as one of the strongest voices in baseball.

18 Sports had the opportunity to speak with Tim on Saturday night before the ceremony. For the next few nights, we will take a look at each New York team in Major League Baseball with Kurkjian. Tonight, it's his analysis of the New York Mets.
