Florida Gators Commit Locke Lights Up Josh Palmer Tourney

Day two early highlights and scores

ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 SPORTS) - McDonogh (MD) high school standout, Noah Locke, wowed the Josh Palmer Tourney on Thursday.

Locke, who's verbally committed to play at D-I Florida University for the Gators, scored 32 points in McDonogh's 63-48 win over Seton Catholic in the quarterfinals of the National Division. It was a highlight of the early session on day two of the Josh Palmer Holiday Inn Classic, which raises money in the fight against cancer. 

Locke and McDonogh will next play Friday night in the semis versus an opponent to be determined at 5 pm at Elmira high school. 

In other action, Elmira Notre Dame advanced to the championship round of their division by outlasting Section V's Newark, 58-51. Gary Raupers scored a game-high 23 points and was able to put in points when the Crusaders needed them the most in the later part of the second-half.
