It's Ok To Dream Charity Event's Big Return

Horseheads fundraiser coming in March

HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (18 SPORTS) - The fourth annual It's Ok To Dream charity event is coming fast. 

Next month, Horseheads middle school will be the site of the biggest local sports charity event for basketball enthusiasts. On Saturday, March 10th, former Buffalo Bills pro bowler Donte Whitner, along with Super Bowl Champions Tank Daniels and Jay Alford of the New York Giants, will be special guests of honor for the charity game. 

Doors open at 4:30 pm, tickets are just $7 and are available at J&B's BBQ Cafe in Elmira or by calling (607) 331-2922.

Also attending, well-known street ball player Posterboy, Elmira native and actress Austyn Johnson, and former NFL player Rashad Barksdale.  

The night will begin with a youth game, followed by the main charity game and then a three-point contest and more. Proceeds will benefit the Elmira PBA and 13-year-old Maddy Brouwere, a local girl who is battling cancer. Stick with 18 Sports for more about the event that's coming soon.
