Chestnut Hill, Mass. (WSYR-TV) – The SU men’s and women’s lacrosse teams both advanced to the ACC Championship games on Friday.

The SU men’s team topped Duke 16-15 in dramatic fashion on a last second goal from former West Genesee standout Dylan Donahue from a nifty assist by Skaneateles alum Kevin Rice with less then half a second remaining on the clock.

Rice netted three goals and five assists for the Orange while Donahue had four goals and two assists.

The SU men’s lacrosse team will take on the winner of either Maryland or Notre Dame in Sunday's ACC Championship at 1 p.m. The game can be seen on ESPNU.

The SU women’s team scored three unanswered goals to top off a 9-7 victory over North Carolina.

The Orange (17-1) were led by former CBA star Katie Webster who netted four goals in the win.

The SU women’s team gets a chance to avenge its only loss of the season when it battles Maryland on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the ACC Championship.
