Horseheads Hands Union-Endicott First Loss

A total team effort helped the Blue Raiders give the Tigers their first blemish of the season.
HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM-TV) - Horseheads had seen Union-Endicott earlier this week, and the Tigers' C.J. Krowiak became U-E's all time leading scorer, and a pain in the Blue Raiders' side.  On Wednesday night, it was a different story and a different result.

For the first time this season, the Tigers were on the the losing end of a game, and the Blue Raiders were all to happy to be that blemish.

The game started with a fast paced style of play.  The Tigers' Krowiak was going to get his points and the Blue Raiders knew they had to answer.

Horseheads spread the ball around as five different starters found the scorers sheet in the first quarter.  Foster Clark was the first Blue Raider to put points on the board, hitting a shot underneath, while drawing the foul.

The Blue Raiders trailed in the fourth, until Jacob Stermer hit the go ahead shot.  Stermer would lead the boys in blue with 21 points in the 71-64 win.
