Lewis Transfers To Shippensburg

After two seasons at Long Island University, the former Corning Hawk was looking a new setting, and some serious competition.
CORNING, N.Y. (WETM-TV) - When Quincy Lewis' time at Corning was done, she traded in her Hawk feathers, for those of the Blackbirds from Long Island University.  Now, she's off to her next challenge, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Lewis went 9-4 as a starter for LIU during her freshman year.  That included a 2.43 E.R.A.  The following season, Lewis spent time as a closer, earning eight saves, while posting a 1.28 E.R.A.

When looking for a transfer, she was searching for something that reminded her a little more of home, while at the same time, bringing with it plenty of competition.  She searched around and paid many visits, ultimately deciding on Shippensburg.
