Blossburg Borough Police said Aaron Shepherd, 30, was wanted for a domestic dispute. He left the scene of the dispute in a black Chevrolet Camaro with New York license plates. Mansfield Borough Police stopped Shepherd going North on Route 15 but he took off.

According to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, Shepherd drove through Bradford and Tioga Counties in Pennsylvania, and Chemung, Steuben, and Schuyler Counties in New York.

“At that point, you don’t know why this person is running or what their mindset is. They may have committed a horrendous crime, we just don’t know and that’s the danger that officers face every day,” said Schuyler County Sheriff Bill Yessman.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s office found Shepherd after midnight this morning. After leading troopers on a short chase, Shepherd was arrested in the Town of Wayne, in Steuben County.

Shepherd was charged with Harassment, Disorderly Conduct, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Reckless Endangerment of a Child, and Criminal Mischief in Pennsylvania.
