MANSFIELD, Pa. – The search committee for athletic director position at Mansfield University has selected three candidates for on-campus interviews.
The candidates will visit Mansfield over the next 10 days for interview sessions with the faculty selection committee, the Department of Health Sciences, MU President Fran Hendricks, Dr. Chris Bridges, Vice-President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, the Mansfield University coaching staff and MU students as well as an open meeting with the campus and local community.
Kris Decker, the associate athletic director and senior woman administrator, has served as the interim Director of Athletics since September of 2013.
All three candidates have extensive experience as athletic directors at the university level.
The three candidates are: Dr. Rick Goeb, former Athletic Director Bemidji (Minn.) State University; Dr. Tom Gioglio, Director of Athletics East Stroudsburg University; Deb Solfaro, Senior Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Mansfield University participates at the NCAA Division II level and is a charter member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). With 18 institutions, the PSAC is the largest NCAA conference in the nation.
