Gillian Friebis joined the team in March of 2023 as a digital producer.
Gillian was born in Elmira and grew up in Elmira Heights. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Minor in Anthropology. While attending Ithaca College, she wrote and edited for Her Campus at Ithaca College. As a senior, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the college’s chapter of Her Campus.
When she isn’t writing, Gillian enjoys reading, collecting houseplants, and listening to true-crime podcasts. Gillian is excited to start her career in her hometown.
