Joe Mason joined WETM 18 News in June 2023 as a multimedia journalist. Joe graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism.
During his time at Plattsburgh, he took on a variety of responsibilities at the school’s television station (PSTV). These included news director, news anchor, reporter, play-by-play announcer, color commentator and crew member.
A New York native, Joe was born and raised in a town an hour north of New York City.
When he is not out on a story, Joe enjoys exploring the outdoors, going to hockey games and spending time with his family and friends.
