Trina joined the 18 News team in August of 2022 where she is currently one of the Morning News Anchors and a Multimedia Journalist. Trina graduated from Oswego State University in May of 2022 where she received her B.A. in broadcasting and mass communication.

During her time there, she was a weekday news anchor at WTOP10, the student-run news station at SUNY Oswego. She was also a sports reporter where she highlighted members of Oswego athletics on how they handle being division III athletes. She was also a floor manager where she worked behind the scenes in the studio helping direct the shows.

A true New Yorker at heart, Trina hails from Queens, New York where she lived all of her life before making the big switch to Upstate New York life.

When she is not anchoring the morning news, Trina enjoys binge-watching crime documentaries, cheering on the New York Rangers, and trying new foods. With a name like Catterson, it’s fitting she also enjoys spending time with her two cats, Ferris and Kevin.
