Van Delbridge joined the 18 News team in January 2022 and is currently the weekend morning anchor for the 6 & 7 a.m. newscasts that she also produces. She serves as a reporter during the week.
A native New Jerseyan, Van is a graduate of both New Jersey City University, where she majored in English, and Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Broadcast & Digital Journalism with a Sports Media Communications Emphasis.
Before joining the WETM 18 News Team, Van worked as a digital producer for the student-run multi-media news site The NewsHouse, contributing to the award-winning ‘High Stakes’ project that takes an in-depth look at marijuana here in New York. She also penned bylines concerning the student protests known as #NotAgainSU.
Van is looking forward to connecting with the community and exploring all the Twin Tiers offers.
