The Rockwell Museum will welcome members of the community to its “Andy Warhol Factory Party” to celebrate the iconic artist’s 91st birthday. The event will feature themed food, a hands-on printmaking project on the Museum’s terrace, and a night of socializing in festive Warhol fashion. Mod attire is encouraged! The event is from 7pm-9pm, this Friday August 9th t the Rockwell Museum in Corning.

The Rockwell has featured Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe Suite since June. The exhibit will close September 3. Visitors can experience the art and influence of the globally acclaimed pop artist at the exhibition, which includes ten editions of Warhol’s well-known Marilyn Monroe portrait, a silkscreened can of Black Bean Soup and other iconic works. The exhibition includes works on loan from the Swope Art Museum as well as others from local private collections.
