Pet of the Week 9/23 – Stubby

Pet Of The Week

(WETM) – Stubby is an adult Jack Russell Terrier mix at the Humane Society of Schuyler County who is looking for his fur-ever home.

Here’s what the Humane Society has to say about Stubby:

This adorable little dude came to us as a stray. As soon as he stood up, his name just stuck….those stubby little legs just make you laugh! A typical Jack Russell, he puts the Energizer Bunny to shame. He loves being with people, a great came of fetch is always a hit, and tearing around the yard is great fun too. When he’s all tired out a good snuggle and a snore are in order. Stubby needed surgery to repair cherry eye. While the surgery was successful, his left eye will likely always look a little hinky. But, that’s only cosmetic. Stubby tends to come on a little strong meeting other dogs, so he may well be best as your one and only canine. This little guy is about three years old.

Adoption Fees are $175 and include spay/neuter rabies, DHLPP and kennel cough vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, heartworm testing, heartworm preventative, microchipping and microchip registration fee.
