Rob Lindenmuth

Rob Lindenmuth joins the team as a weekday reporter and weekend meteorologist.

Rob attended Rush–Henrietta Senior high school in Rochester, NY where his deep passion for weather and weather forecasting began.

Going to Earth Science was his favorite thing to do while he was attending classes as he was able to put his knowledge to the test learning about the weather as well as other atmospheric phenomenon.

After graduating from Rush–Henrietta in 2011, he started the following fall at SUNY Brockport focusing on Meteorology, while also learning the ins and outs of journalism. Towards the later part of his time in college Rob took part in the student run television station Talon Television, which gave him more understanding about how broadcasting works.

Rob had the opportunity to complete both a Summer and a Winter internship with 13 WHAM-TV in Rochester, NY, which helped to further his passion for broadcasting the weather and learning as much as he can about it.

In his free time he enjoys bowling, spending time with his golden retriever Buddy, farming both fruits and vegetables, as well as heading out the the local farm markets, and just looking up at the clouds. Family is very important to Rob, so whenever he has the chance he enjoys visiting with them and talking about the weather. Rob is excited to start his career at WETM, where he is glad he gets to join an already great weather and news team!
