MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. (AP) — Three men standing in front of a western Pennsylvania home were shot and critically injured by a man clad in black clothing who then fled the scene, authorities said.

The shooting in Mount Oliver was reported around 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to Allegheny County police.

Emergency responders initially found a 20-year-old man who had been shot in the head. They soon learned two other men had also been shot but had fled the scene on the foot.

The latter two victims — a 23-year-old man shot in the arm and side and a 19-year-old shot in the neck — were soon found on nearby streets. All three victims were taken to a hospital and were listed in critical condition, but their names were not released.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation, authorities said. The shooter approached the men and quickly shot them multiple times with a handgun before fleeing the scene in a pickup truck, according to witnesses.
