Nine people were transported to the hospital after a crash on State Route 15 in Lawrence Township Sunday afternoon.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the driver of a 2009 Nissan Murano was slowing down to exit onto Exit 196/State Route 49. The driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban misjudged the Nissan’s speed and struck the back of the vehicle.
The Nissan spun 360 degrees and struck a guide rail in the median. The Suburban spun and struck the guide rails in the median before rolling over in the left-hand lane.
The driver of the Suburban, Jessica Jacquier-Hahn of Bath, and all five of her passengers were transported to Corning Hospital by ambulance in unknown conditions.
Nicole Hill of Waterloo, New York and one passenger from the Nissan were flown to Strong Memorial Hospital. Another passenger in the Nissan was also transported to Corning Hospital, while one passenger was uninjured.
State Police say an investigation is still ongoing.
