Voters vote against Hornell Pre-K Capital Project

HORNELL, N.Y. (WETM-TV) – The Hornell School District’s Capital Improvement Project was not approved by voters on Tuesday, December 3.

The vote was:

  • YES: 164
  • NO: 186

The project will not result in a tax increase for district residents. Funds from the New York State Smart Schools Bond Act will cover the estimated cost. Existing capital reserve funds would cover the remaining cost.
