WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WETM)- Chase Elliott gets career win number five after winning back to back years at Watkins Glen International.
Elliott was able to clinch the first starting spot for the race Sunday and he lead eighty out of the ninety laps before crossing the finish line.
Elliott now moves into sixth place in the playoff standings after he received max points in the race Sunday by winning all three stages.
His father Bill Elliott was also in attendance to watch his son win his second race at Watkins Glen International.
