Boys lacrosse all-state picks released

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The New York State boys lacrosse all-state teams have been released.

Corning’s Brendyn Hogue and Collin Neally have been named large school third-team all-state. The two seniors helped the Hawks win a Section IV Class A title this past season. Horseheads junior midfielder Gavin Elston was named to the large school eighth-team. In small school, Notre Dame goalie Grant Crossley was named to the fifth-team and Crusaders midfielder Owen Spring was a sixth-team selection.

Here is a list of area players that were named all-state:

Large School

Third team
Collin Neally – Corning senior midfielder
Brendyn Hogue – Corning senior attack

Eighth team
Gavin Elston – Horseheads junior midfielder

Small School

Third team
Trent Birch – Haverling senior defender

Fifth team
Grant Crossley – Notre Dame freshman goalie

Sixth team
Owen Spring – Notre Dame sophomore midfielder

Honorable mention
Jordan Deats – Haverling junior attack
