Shelby Clark

Shelby Clark is a native to the area who joins the team as a weekday reporter and weekend meteorologist.

Shelby attended Watkins Glen schools where she spent a majority of her time playing volleyball on the school’s team for many years, being around her friends, and enjoying the great outdoors. Ever since she could remember, she enjoyed learning about anything that had to do with weather and knew she wanted to become a Broadcast Meteorologist.

After graduating high school in 2011, she spent a year at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse focusing on math and science, and then continued her education at SUNY Oswego where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology and a Mathematics Minor in May 2015.

Shelby took part in the student managed television station as one of the meteorologists, her senior year at SUNY Oswego, was involved in Meteorology Club, and interned at a local television station for a summer.

When Shelby is not busy working in the studio, she loves to explore the outdoors, spend time with her family and friends, and just enjoy looking up at the clouds.

Shelby is excited to start her career at WETM, the same news station she grew up watching. If you have any news or weather ideas that you would like to share, feel free to email her at
