Quinnton Johnson, 18, was arrested in connection to a 16-year-old that was found after being reported missing. This was not the first time Johnson has been connected to a missing person’s case.
In December 2015, 18 News reported that Auburn Police were searching for a missing juvenile, from Cayuga Centers. That juvenile was Quinnton Johnson, who was later found April 2016 in Corning.
Alexis Hostrander was found on Reynolds Ave. in Corning after police say she ran away from home and got into a waiting vehicle on Dec. 13.
Johnson was charged with custodial interference and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in the Town of Erwin Court and he’s currently in the Steuben County jail.
Police believe the two had a relationship.
