Animal Care Sanctuary has received a $3,000 grant from singer Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.

This is the second time Animal Care Sanctuary has received The Mutts Across America: 50 States/50 Shelters grant after first receiving it in 2015.

MuttNation “promotes and facilitate the adoption of shelter pets, encourage spay & neuter for all pets, and educate the public about the importance and beneficial impact of these actions.”

The foundation was co-founded 10 years ago by Grammy-winning country singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert and her mother, Bev Lambert.

Animal Care Sanctuary operates shelters in Tioga and Bradford County, Pennsylvania. In 2018 ACS adopted 700 dogs and cats, spayed and neutered over 5000 dogs and cats in the community clinics and distributed 20,000 pounds of food in the pet pantries.
