The Steuben County Land Bank Corporation (SCLBC), a nonprofit corporation, operates under New York State authority.
SCLBC was recently awarded $550,000. Jack Wheeler, Steuben County Manager, spoke about it during our “Ask The Manager,” segment on 18 News at Noon.
The corporation addresses issues in neighborhoods from vacant, abandoned, condemned and foreclosed properties.
The SCLBC looks to improve neighborhoods across Steuben County and reverse declining property value trends. Through these efforts, the goal is to improve housing across the county along with commercial stock.
