UPDATE (8:45 P.M.) – A GoFundMe has been created for the victims of the fire. You can donate to that fund here. The Campbell Savona Community Support Group will open their doors for those victims on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. They are also accepting donations that will directly benefit those victims. They are located at 16 Church St, Savona, NY.

UPDATE (8:02 P.M.) – The American Red Cross, Finger Lakes Chapter, is assisting a total of 21 people. 13 adults and 8 children. It has been confirmed that 7 homes have been impacted by this blaze. The families will meet with Red Cross caseworkers in the coming days to work on long-term recovery plans.

HORNELL, N.Y (WETM-TV/ THE HORNELL EVENING TRIBUNE) A massive structure fire has ignited in Hornell between Preston Ave and Washington Street. Multiple Hornell firefighters are currently battling a large blaze on Preston Avenue in the city.
Reports from the scene indicate the fire has spread to several homes on the street. Mutual aid has been called in from multiple neighboring departments as firefighters work to get the fire under control.
According to Officer Hoyt of the Hornell Police Department, residents in the affected neighborhood can get away by heading to the cafeteria at the Hornell High School.
