ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) — Sylvie Farr, Executive Director of the Chemung County Habitat for Humanity stopped by 18 News Today to tell us more about “Building on Faith” 2019.
Chemung County Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent are coming together to work on community improvement projects to make a difference for affordable housing. This is the 3rd Building on Faith event. It will include working at a Habitat build site in Southport on Friday, September 13, and cleaning up Linear Park in Horseheads on Saturday, September 14.
Registration is preferred, but volunteers are welcome to come out and participate. Visit the habitat for Humanity website to learn more about Building on Faith 2019.
