Chemung County Sheriff’s Office nab two fugitives

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrests of two fugitives: Tasheam E. Jackson, age 32, of Elmira Heights, and Terry L. Roach Jr, age 34, of Van Etten.

Jackson has been charged as a Fugitive from Justice after it was learned that he had an active warrant out of the Monroe County Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in court on a possession of a controlled substance charge.

Roach Jr, age 34, of Van Etten,  has been charged as a Fugitive from Justice after it was learned that he had an active warrant out of the Bradford County, Pennsylvania Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in court on a DUI charge.

Roach had been committed to the Chemung County Jail on a New York State Parole Violation when it was learned he was also wanted by Pennsylvania authorities. Roach is being held in the Chemung County Jail without bail pending arraignment in Chemung County Court.
