CMoG hosting lecture on history of Vienna


The Corning Museum of Glass is hosting a free public lecture on the history of 20th century Vienna.

“Vienna 1900: The Heart of Modernity” is part of the museum’s Behind the Glass lecture series, and will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 6:30p.m. in the auditorium. It also ties to the museum’s exhibition, “Glass of the Architects: 1900-1937,” which is open through Jan. 7, 2019.

The lecture will be presented by Janis Staggs, director of curatorial and manager of publications at the Neue Galerie in New York.
