(UPDATE 3/3—@1:30 PM)- According to the Campbell Fire Department’s Facebook Page:
On Monday, March 2nd at 4:49 AM a passerby reported to 911 a fire, flames through the roof. Building fully involved, at Austin’s Construction, 5054 County Rt. 125.
First arriving units confirmed a working structure fire with fuel tanks involved. A second alarm was immediately requested.
That second alarm brought in Savona, Coopers Plains, Thurston, Painted Post and Bath.
3rd alarm requested – Tankers from Bradford and E. Campbell. County Route 125 was shut down to safely conduct fire operations and due to the number of Tankers running for water supply.
4th alarm was requested – Tankers from Bath, S. Corning, N. Corning, Kanona and personnel from Tyrone & Engine from Gang Mills.
CAMPBELL, N.Y. (WETM) – A second fire broke out Monday morning in Steuben County, destroying part of a roof on a building in Campbell.
Gang Mills and several other departments responded to the fire after calls came in around 5 a.m. to Austin Construction building on County Route 125
