Corning man arrested for Burglary and Child Endangerment

Steuben County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in Bath, on July 7, concerning violation of protection of its residents.

Officers arrested thirty-seven year old, Joshua M. Sanford, of Corning for allegedly entering or remaining in the residence unlawfully. It was also suspected that he acted harmful towards a child in the home.

Sanford was charged with first degree criminal contempt, second degree burglary, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned by the Steuben County Centralized Arraignment Court and held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Sanford is to appear in Steuben County Court at a later date.
