Steuben County deputies arrested John Eggleston III, 29, of Corning after a vehicle stop on State Rt. 36 in Jasper.
The Sheriff’s Office says Eggleston was operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition and that he was previously convicted of an alcohol-related charge within the previous ten years.
Eggleston was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a blood alcohol content above .08 percent with a prior conviction within the preceding ten years, Driving While Intoxicated with a previous conviction within ten years and Speeding in excess of posted limits.
Eggleston was released on traffic summons to appear in the Jasper Town Court at a later date.
