A couple in the Town of Bath has been arrested. 

New York State Police executed a search warrant at 7860 County Rt, 12 after receiving a report that 38-year-old Christine Oberdorf and 39-year-old Philip Oberdorf were growing marijuana throughout the home and the children were exposed to the operation. 

During the execution of the search warrant, along with a marijuana growing operation, police also found illegal firearms and the drug paraphernalia. 

Philip Oberdorf was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon, which is a felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor, and Unlawfully Growing Cannabis, also a misdemeanor. 

A separate investigation was conducted on Christine Oberdorf where she was allegedly found to be selling prescription medications. 

Christine Oberdorf was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is a felony, and an additional charge for Endangering the Welfare of a child for conducting the drug transaction in front of a child under the age of 17. 

Both Philip Oberdorf and Christine Oberdorf were arraigned in the Town of Bradford Court and sent to the Steuben County Jail on $10,000 cash bail and $20,000 property bail.
