Craft Beer Week 2016 Wraps Up This Saturday

New York has really stepped up its game over the last few years when it comes to local craft beers.

Each year, across the country, craft beer lovers celebrate Craft Beer Week and that celebration kicks off in the Finger Lakes on May 14 and runs through May 21 with several unique events that will have you excited.

Guests from Corning and the Southern Finger Lakes and Steuben Brewing Company stopped by 18 News Today Friday morning to celebrate with a little bit of tasting and teaching about our local beer scene.

To finish up a week of celebrations you can head to Cider Creek Brew Fest on Saturday May 21. Specializing in 100% handmade, farm-fresh hard cider, but also offering NYS wines, craft beers, liquors, and local farm products, Cider Creek Hard Cider will close out Craft Beer Week with the 1st Annual Cider Creek Brew Fest. The event, which takes place from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m., will feature tastings from over two dozen breweries, live music and fun activities. A variety of delicious foods will also be available with four food trucks on site.
