ELMIRA, NY (WETM) – The City of Elmira’s cultural connector project, better known as the roundabout, is in its final phase, according to city officials Wednesday.
Storm drains along with granite curbing were being worked on today on North Main Street, Elmira City Councilman Brent Stermer said.
Stermer also told 18 News, trees will be planted, this will provide shade to people as they walk along the roundabout. There are also plans to implement art in this space.
The project is expected to be finished on time this upcoming fall.
